Until recently it was going to be Locker but chances are he's on his way out. Mettesiah could be it eventually but for now he's an unknown. Pollard? Blindside? No one?

If the Darkness has consumed the universe and only our solar system is left, and there has yet to be any hint of the darkness being sent away from our solar system, where does Bungie plan to take the Destiny Franchise from here? There are only so many planets to take advantage of, and enemies to utilize. I can only hope for Bungie to put their creative juices in a centrifuge and get things moving, there is a lot to be done for the next set of games and DLCs. I don't know, is it too early to care? I'm just so hyped by the lore this game has to offer and mentally shallowed by Bungie's use of it that I'm searching for Lore to divulge in. Maybe we should discuss possible future Destiny Lore.

I just recently started getting into Codemaster's F1 racing game franchise and quickly found that I have developed a genuine interest in the sport as a whole.
Sadly, it seems that finding entire race broadcasts from past seasons is almost impossible online (at last as far as I know). Are there any good ways to view entire past races from the 2013 and 2014 seasons?

So I was playing Connected Franchise last night (offline, of course, since EA can't keep their servers up reliably) and the game crashed while I was whipping up on the Titans (I'm the Colts). Upon starting my Xbox One again today, I noticed that Madden had automatically saved my game in progress. Well, instead of loading the game, it loaded up the opening cutscene (with the Panthers and Seahawks). When the cutscene switched to user control, it seamlessly transitioned back to my game, where I was now controlling the Titans. Naturally, I ran backwards into their end zone for the safety. The Colts defense then celebrated as the jumbotron declared the Colts AFC champions during a regular season game. The game proceeded to get stuck in loading after this sequence.

How One Piece could possibly be adapted into Live Action Movies? Fresh fom Reddit
More accurately how to you get 700+ chapters of manga and anime and squeeze them into a bunch of 90-150 minute movies. How many arcs could go into a single movie? Would you use other forms of media to fill in plot gaps like TV or an online series? Would you have to cut out some key OP scenes to make the movie plot more consistent? If you could get one movie what would get adapted? etc. etc.
For my hypothesis on the subject, I think it could work with a big movie, small tv special pattern starting with an introductory Alabasta movie, followed by a Skypiea special, Enies Lobby movie, Thriller Bark Special, Marineford Movie, Fishman Island Special, Dressrosa movie, then whatever comes after.
Thoughts?
edit: let's say for a hypothetical that you have been hired by Universal for the production of a One Piece film franchise. They have millions into the production and a big director. It is most likely that it will turn out well regardless of what you do. You're the screenplay writer. How do you get as much One Piece into a film and where do you cut and add stuff.

The next CoD Fresh fom Reddit
Earlier today I was googling Treyarch because I was curious what they have done besides Call of Duty. Which naturally led me to look up the next Call of Duty. I was fully expecting it to be Black Ops 3. But to my surprise the leading rumor was that the next Call of Duty would be going back to World War II.
At first I thought this was a good idea mainly because it brought back a lot of nostalgia. I was in highschool when the Medal of Honor and battlefield 1942 were popular. But the more I thought about it the less I liked the idea. It seems like going back to World War II would be a step backwards for the franchise.
If we're being honest what could you do with that setting that hasn't already been done before? Which leads me to my questions to you all, does the Call of Duty community want to see another World War II game? If so why?

Question regarding Super Metroid (spoilers) Fresh fom Reddit
First of all, Hello. It's my first visit here (I beat my first Metroid game few days ago - obviously Super Metroid), I'm already in love with this franchise and I have just one question. Is there a theory amongst Super Metroid fans, why exactly this statue in wrecked ship area carries Samus to the new area? When I figured it out, that you can morph into the ball and trigger animation, I was amazed but the lore / story aspect of this whole carrying theme interests me. I'm aware You may simply answear "game mechanics", but maybe You have got some theory? Like the statue was designed to carry something else and Samus just triggers the process? If so what was this thing statue was meant to carry?
Maybe I'm just overanalyzing...

[PC] CoD Ghosts or BF4? Fresh fom Reddit
So, now with the sales I've figured that I can get one of these. I'm no fanboy to each of these franchises, but I usually prefer cod over bf unless I'm playing with friends (which doesn't really happen that often). I really like the atmosphere of battlefields, but sometimes the larger maps of they're aren't that many players can get a bit boring. Plus, I think that there could be more maps, more diversity, besides the DLC's. Though I really love the more realistic part of bf, sometimes it gets too big, sometimes I prefer the arcadiness of cod.
I've seen people say that bf3 is better than bf4, and I have bf3, so I'm not sure about getting it. Now, the things about ghosts: does this game have the League-type thing that Black ops 2 has? I have both MW3 and BO2, but I really loved this game when it was free a few months back. It had what I liked in both of the other CoD's I have, which is the style of the game that MW3 had, with some aspects of gameplay that the BO2 has. And I think that it has the League system too, which is one part that I like in BO2. The customization is something that I also liked on BO2, and the customization in ghosts is even better.
So, basically I'm asking which one you'd think is best for me, for my pc (bf 4 could run a lot smoother in my pc, imo), and for playing with friends, now that you know what I like in games. Also, how's the player base in both games?
And while we're at it, do you have any idea if my stats from when ghosts was free will carry on if I buy the game? I played it via steam, and I got near level 30, don't want to get back to 0.

I confess that I hate what SOE did with the Planetside franchise. I've been playing PS2 since beta, and while the game itself is well made, I finally have to come out and say, I think Higby's vision for the game is shit. There, I said it. We have Freemium store style customization, yet it took 2 years for knives to mimic the PS1 stock equipment. We finally have Spitfire turrets (requested by nobody, ever,) yet we still have no continental lattice, no battle islands, no drawing on maps, no logistics, no command structure, no [name your pet ps1 reminiscence here.]
Look, I know a lot of you never played PS1, and that's totally cool. Hell, it's not like PS1 was some magical world with no problems. But PS2 was supposed to be the successor of it, and instead we get MLG BITCHEZZZ!!! People I used to play with who used to care about taking bases and winning for the TR, now only care about Auraxiums and Directives.
Don't even get me started on the shitty, greedy way they made you jump through hoops to get the station cash you already payed for with your subscription. I opened a ticket for that (having been in a motorcycle accident and in rehabilitation,) and they sent me a stock "how to reclaim this month's station cash" form letter and closing the ticket. I assume I lost about 5 months' station cash, but in the bigger picture, do any of us really feel any surprise from that?
OK I guess I'm ranting now, but seriously, fuck you SOE. You turned something good into a glorified Combat Arms, and somehow tricked your player base into paying you to do it.

Hello everyone, I am only really a Buffalo sports fan when it comes to the Bills, since I don't watch hockey, and I don't really know too much about the Pegulas as owners. I have watched all the Gundam series, and quite honestly G Gundam is one of my favorite. Amongst the Gundam elite is a belief that its silly and horrifyingly bad. I attribute this because it deviates so dramatically from the Gundam franchise. I find it odd that those same people can then turn around and praise Gundam Build Fighters??? Are they not similar in nature.

I own AW and I'm absolutely loving it. However, I received the MCC for Christmas and it blows my mind; 4 games in one, with multiplayer and campaign for each game with original maps and graphics? Yeah it has run into some issues, but for $60 the game is a steal for any Halo lover.
So here is my question: why wouldn't they develop a CoD collection containing
CoD 4
MW2
Black Ops
World at War
Black Ops 2 and Ghosts excluded due to the games being too recent. I also left out MW3 because it's similar to MW2 (and inferior in my opinion). This is besides the point - 4 classic games in one bundle, with original engines and multiplayer/campaign? I feel like they could charge $75 for this game and still make a ton of money.

What happened to Halo? Fresh fom Reddit
Halo for me has become a horrible experience. What used to be fun and streamline now is clunky and broken. I am a Halo Veteran, and I loved every Halo game that has come out. Yes, even Halo 4 sometimes. Last year I decided to go with the PS4 as I knew I would get an Xbox One when Halo 5 came out, however once I learned of the MCC I quickly saved up as much as I could and got the Xbox One and MCC several days ago. All I can say is I am appalled. Where is Halo? Where is the nostalgia trip to my childhood 343 promised? All I see are horrendous waiting times, terrible connections and barely any features to grow the community. The features that defined 3 and Reach, like file browsers, customizable armor, a decent progression system. A nice UI. I see none of this in the MCC I can't browse files and download classic custom maps, The UI is ugly, It spits me out of a lobby after every match, No voice chat? And to top it off, a pathetic amount of game modes. Where is GB, Infection Objectives, Heavies, Action Sack etc... Since Halo is my favorite franchise in the world I am willing to stick with it and see if things improve, but 343i What did you do to my baby? Have you forgotten what made Halo the greatest game ever made? It truly saddens me to see Halo treated like this. Sure, the old soundtracks and classic halo multiplayer makes me feel like a kid again but the whole experiencing is sub par. I am very disappointed.

Anywho, welcome to CommunityStuck, you newcomers. I may as well get this out of the way at the beginning. Please, enjoy this "fireside chat" we participate in on a nightly basis. These are only going to get later in the evening, so please, sit down. Have some cocoa, some coffee, some tea, or whatever your pleasure. We're going to talk about your day, my friend(s). Then, everyone is going to answer some casual questions, some "conversation starters", if you will. We're really going to get quite chatty, so let's live it up.
Well, today was a small day. I woke up substantially earlier than yesterday, at around 11:30 in the morning, after a night of drinking. It wasn't a very good night, and we ended up watching Advent Children because my buddy is a stubborn jackass. I wasn't a huge fan, but riffing the movie (a la MST3K) made it a lot of fun.
You see that "a la" phrase up there? See, that's one of the (scarce) advantages to typing this on mobile. I can put the accents up there on my phone. Not having 'em bothers the hell out of me.
Now, let's get down to one last bit of business: TOMORROW'S COMMUNITYSTUCK WILL BE POSTED AT 6 PM CENTRAL. I'M MAKING THEM LATER ON THE OFF CHANCE THAT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO KEEP DOING THEM AFTER WORK.

Yesterday, I went to the local bar before a coffee date with a friend of mine. The bar was called The Growler, and it served only craft beers.
So I picked up some Coffee stout. I gotta say, that shit was delicious. I mean, it was like I was drinking coffee, but it was an ice cold beer.
Christ in a sidecar, beer is good.
Then, in the mood for more stout, I bought some of Shiner's birthday brew, a chocolate stout.
Oh my god that was terrible. I'll stick with Shiner Bock from now on, thank you very much.

Reviving the PC community Fresh fom Reddit
Hello /r/CodAW before I get into the meat of this post I'd like to post a few things so you know where I am coming from.
1) I love CoD (Ghosts not so much but BO2 was amazing) and AW has potential to be one of the better games in the franchise
2) I have primarily been a Console CoD player but switched to PC gaming over the last year because all of my friends did the same
So, here it goes: As any PC player or maybe any CoD player knows, the PC community isn't exactly "Thriving" Peak hours we hit upwards of 12-16k and then at night it's anywhere from 1.5-3k players. This isn't too bad given the fact that the top 2 Steam games are DOTA 2 and CS:GO, however this "player count" leads to games taking a while to find or not finding any at all simply because people aren't playing those game modes (Momentum I'm looking at you). Everyone flocks to TDM, which is fine, It's fun and awesome but with gear drop specifically coming to different playlists and the fact that TDM can get tedious after hours and hours of playing, this can lead to exhaustion and annoyance. Here are some things I'm offering for either future patches/future releases.
1) Cross platform. Whether it be just to Xbox or just to Sony, I don't really care there should be something planned where the game is populated for PC (and the consoles would get a boost of 16k players as well). I think Cross platform would work great. I know this would take a while to get down perfectly but I believe back in 06-08 Shadowrun had cross platform servers so if an old game could have them I can't see why CoD can't. - I know this leads to balancing issues, Aim Assist OP for consoles, Mouse and Keyboard movement and binding keys OP for Computer, but that's a road we can cross later.
2) Servers. Whether there are dedicated servers or not is an entirely diffrent discussion. HOWEVER, if you do have servers please implement a better Banning system. I propose an Overwatch system like CS:GO has. What overwatch is, community watches gameplay of the reported hackers/cheaters/abusers and at the end decides if there was enough physical evidence or not. This does not mean you at SHG/3Arc/IW wouldn't watch the hackussations, it just means you have a better community response to it.
3.) Weapon Buffing and Nerfing. Funny enough I have a perfect example of a weapon Nerf that should NOT have happened for the PC community.
EM1 - The laser gun. Yeah, that one. On consoles the buff could make sense, it wasn't doing what it was supposed to (According to SHG) and truth be told tracking and aiming on a console is harder than on a PC (Aim Assist helps you console players). On PC however, this gun creates quite the OPness monster. For anyplayer that has played Quake, Unreal, any sort of Arena shooter with a hitscan gun you will be very familiar with how this gun works (LG gun in quake, Lightning gun in UT). This gun is as easy as holding the mouse button for .5 seconds over the enemy player and they are dead. Little aiming is required because again, it's a hitscan gun and tracking/tracing/following on PC is easier because of a mouse. Please all future CoD devs be careful and thoughtful on what guns you are nerfing and buffing for all platforms. What may seem right on console doesn't necessarily mean it's right on PC, and that goes BOTH ways.
4) Ranked playlist. I really don't know a solution for this, but something should be done. There are no people playing the Ranked playlist on PC. Which is strange considering CS;GO and DOTA 2 are highly competitive games and are always more populated in the ranking playlist. Maybe it's because this is CoD and people don't find it necessary to play a competitive playlist? (I follow Comp CoD so I'm not one of those people), or maybe there just isn't an incentive. Whether it be fine tuning your ranking structure, or displaying the persons actual ELO (DOTA does MMR same thing, Quake) (SC2, LoL hide their ELO but replace them with ranks)
That's about it for right now, I'll add and edit as I remember, please feel free to jump in. As it stands SHG, I really do think you have a great game, and a huge potential for all platforms. You say you listen to the community so please read this and maybe consider what can be done in the future? It's been a long time since PC CoD has had a sizeable community and full game lobbies, I really do want to see it return.

Hola! So I'm hosting a Halo 3 tournament in January and need a little advice.
The only variables I'm sure of at this moment:
The tournament needs to fill a 4.5 hour bracket.
It will be hosted on 1 console, 1 projector, 4 controllers.
The first one will be free, no cover.
The place I'm hosting it at is a very popular bar, so I'm expecting a lot of folks to come out.
Sooooo a few questions I have....
FFA or 2 person teams?
32 or 64 person bracket?
Maps?
Double elimination?
Should I ask people to sign up beforehand, or allow people to sign up as they show up? The latter obviously might prove difficult if we do teams.
I'm very familiar with the game and we plan on it being a large event. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. No, I won't switch it to Halo 2 :P Halo 3 is my favorite and I think the fairest game in the franchise for newbs and vets alike.

Small Question About Connected Franchise Fresh fom Reddit
First off I just want to say that I'm new to Madden 15, and just Madden as a whole, so if this is a really dumb question I apologize.
I started playing a connected franchise as a coach, playing with the Packers. I kept most settings to default and just started to play the first game. I had the default lineup: Rodgers, Nelson, Lacey, etc. Then, when the first quarter ended and I started a drive in the second quarter, all of the backup people were there: Flynn, Starks, etc. I tried looking through the menu, but I couldn't find anything. Is this normal or am I missing something?

So I purchased it for 3ds a while back, due mostly in part to this sub, along with the 3ds sub. The controls kind of turned me off, yet I wanted to love the game.
I purchased it for wiiu then, hoping the controls would be a bit easier to deal with, and indeed they were, yet somehow my interest in the game had diminished.
It now sits on my shelf, calling my name for time to time, yet I don't go back to it.
I'm only about 2 hours in, but it seems very boring to me, with almost zero handholding, something I need for the first bit of a new franchise, as things sometimes fly right past me the first time I play them.
I love open world games, Ocarina of time is one of my all time favorites, I'm addicted to the Assassins Creed franchise, and I played the shit out of Mass Effect even.
Please, I plead with all of you, help me get over the hump.

The Browns had just beaten the Bengals and things seemed good. It SEEMED like we had the answer to our qb situation, it SEEMED our team had settled in to playing consistently week to week, it SEEMED that the return of Josh Gordon would only boost our offenses level of play. Once Brian started to play poorly is where the whole team started to fall in shambles. Now, we have a rookie qb who everyone is writing of, a free agent veteran qb who is probably most definitely leaving our team, our star wide receiver just got suspended, our franchise qb and CB seem disinterested in making advancements in the nfl. Just a rant, but my god did this season fucking lose its wheels

As we've seen, remakes and remasters have become the norm over the past few years, such as the Master Chief Collection and Tomb Raider: Definitive edition, but why has Activision not jumped on the remake train with Call of Duty?
Could it be because of the different developers of the franchise, leading to CoD: The Treyarch Collection, etc. Are there just too many games to include? Or would Activision just not make enough money for perhaps 5 games (Cod 4, WaW, MW2, BLOPS1, MW3) for 60 bucks?
I for one would love to see some of my favorite CoDs on Xbox one.

Just got me thinking, with all the fanfiction that's bound to be coming out, it seems like a logical choice. If this is new to you, Kindle Worlds is basically a marketplace where more well-known franchises license out their property so authors can write and sell fan-fiction. The money is split equally between creative property owner, amazon, and the fanfic author. They do screen entries so there's at least a basic level of professionalism for anything that gets published. The fiction sells for cheap ($1-$4 depending on length) and I think it'd be a great place to collect our stories.
The major roadblock is getting Nick to share the license on here. To me, it's a no brainer, because it doesn't hurt them in any way. It doesn't exclude them from producing official content; the only detriment I could think of is that it "dilutes" the integrity of the brand, but since when has Nick cared about that? I think the big issue would be finding a way to contact them and pitch the idea to someone high enough up the food chain. Thoughts?

Winnipeg (18-10-7) lost defensemen Jacob Trouba and Mark Stuart until at least February in the final two weeks before the Christmas break. They joined Zach Bogosian - expected to remain out until at least next month - and Tobias Enstrom on the shelf.
The Jets acquired Jay Harrison from Carolina on Dec. 18 to make up for those losses, and winger Dustin Byfuglien was moved to the blue line.
Byfuglien assisted on Perreault's second goal in Tuesday's 5-1 rout of Chicago, which pushed Winnipeg to 3-0-1 in its last four games and 8-1-4 in its past 13.
Perreault has four of his eight goals in the last three contests. He has five goals and four assists during his eight-game point streak, the longest by a Jets player this season.
Perreault, who has three goals and one assist in his last four games against Minnesota, had a nine-game run March 14-31 while with Anaheim.
"(He's) real confident with the puck now, getting it off his stick quick and no second-guessing. We need that," coach Paul Maurice said. "He's been great. He's such a good guy in the room. He works so hard. I think that's the big part. For not a big man, he just fights for every puck and then when he scores, the guys appreciate that even more."
With Perreault's contributions, Winnipeg has averaged 3.31 goals in its last 13 games - the second-most in the league since Nov. 24. Bryan Little has seven of his team-best 13 goals in that stretch but has two goals and two assists in his last eight games.
The Jets will face a Minnesota team tied with Arizona for most goals allowed per game since Nov. 24 at 3.67.
The Wild (16-13-3) have fared even worse in a 2-4-2 stretch by giving up 33 goals, including a combined 11 in the past two of their four consecutive defeats. Minnesota matched its longest skid this season with a 5-2 loss to Philadelphia on Tuesday.
"We're supposed to be a band of brothers that goes out, night in and night out, and lays it on the line for each other," forward Matt Cooke said. "We found that last year. Just because we had it last year doesn't mean that it's here this year. We have to go out and earn the trust in each other."
Minnesota blew an early three-goal lead to Winnipeg on Nov. 16 but Marco Scandella provided an overtime goal for a 4-3 victory, its fifth in the last six meetings.
The Wild have also won three in a row at home over the Jets, but are seeking to avoid their first four-game home losing streak in two seasons. Their longest overall skid last season was a six-gamer Dec. 19-31.
Zach Parise, who scored twice in last month's win, has 11 goals and 10 assists in his past 18 games versus the Jets franchise.
Byfuglien, a Minnesota native, has two goals and nine assists in his last 10 matchups with the Wild and three goals and eight assists in his last seven visits to Minnesota.
The Jets and Wild will play again Monday.
