Halo for me has become a horrible experience. What used to be fun and streamline now is clunky and broken. I am a Halo Veteran, and I loved every Halo game that has come out. Yes, even Halo 4 sometimes. Last year I decided to go with the PS4 as I knew I would get an Xbox One when Halo 5 came out, however once I learned of the MCC I quickly saved up as much as I could and got the Xbox One and MCC several days ago. All I can say is I am appalled. Where is Halo? Where is the nostalgia trip to my childhood 343 promised? All I see are horrendous waiting times, terrible connections and barely any features to grow the community. The features that defined 3 and Reach, like file browsers, customizable armor, a decent progression system. A nice UI. I see none of this in the MCC I can't browse files and download classic custom maps, The UI is ugly, It spits me out of a lobby after every match, No voice chat? And to top it off, a pathetic amount of game modes. Where is GB, Infection Objectives, Heavies, Action Sack etc... Since Halo is my favorite franchise in the world I am willing to stick with it and see if things improve, but 343i What did you do to my baby? Have you forgotten what made Halo the greatest game ever made? It truly saddens me to see Halo treated like this. Sure, the old soundtracks and classic halo multiplayer makes me feel like a kid again but the whole experiencing is sub par. I am very disappointed.
