If you were at the game and booed our team, you should be fucking ashamed of yourself. Fresh fom Reddit

I've heard the arguments: "we played poorly, and the boos were warranted." "we were booing the coaching, not Peyton". "Denver deserved a win, and Peyton deprived us of that."

Fuck that. And fuck you if you booed. Our boys deserve better, and our town should behave better than that. Being a Broncos fan isn't something you should undertake lightly. Just because we have a HOF QB and Elway behind the wheel doesn't mean we "deserve" anything. We aren't automatically warranted wins. This league is filled with great teams, and if things don't come together perfectly, you won't bring home that Lombardi. We have 46 men on the field dressed and actively putting their bodies, minds, and hearts on the line. These guys have suffered torn ACLs, Broken ribs, Concussions, fractured wrists, blown knees, destroyed ankles, and they still go out there and get us #2 in the AFC.

I've been a Bronco since I was born, and I've seen everything from Elway to Peyton, and everyone in between. I love being able to call myself a broncos fan, because no matter how bad we played tonight or last year at the Super Bowl, I get to turn on the TV or enter the stadium with excitement in my belly, excited to see us kick ass, rather than dread (ahem Raiders fans). How many other teams in the league have consistently offer their fans that experience? Pats, Packers, Cowboys, Steelers? Hawks fans have such short-term memories that they forgot the team even existed before 2012. Most fans turn on the TV with the attitude "let's see just how shitty my beloved boys play today." But we have a Franchise that consistently delivers a great outing. We should be fucking PROUD to have DT, JT, Welker, Sanders, PFM, VonWareWolfe, Talib, CJ, Hillman, Potroast, and everyone else wearing orange armor out on the green representing OUR FUCKING CITY.

We are blessed to live in a beautiful state with gorgeous mountains and clean air and nice people and good food and a kickass football team, yet we have the temerity to Boo when Peyton doesn't perform? Fuck you. I'm damn proud of our team. I'm even proud of John Fox. We go 12-4, and you think we should fire our QB, our Coach, our DefCoordinator?! Seriously, go suck a dick. I love where we our. Even if Peyton is on the outs and will only deteriorate in the next two seasons, well shit I would be honored if he did it wearing orange. One of the greatest QBs of all time recovers from a debilitating injury, comes to our town and brings us 3 playoffs and 1 superbowl appearance? We should be honored that this legendary stallion is choosing to gracefully age (and yes it is graceful - we didn't go 4 - 12 this season) on our pastures.

If you "can't stand the feeling of losing", go be a Pats fan. The fact is, each year only one team truly wins the NFL, most years, it won't be us. That's just the way it is. 96% of NFL teams don't get to take home the Lombardi trophy each year - that's the way it is.

So please, whether you are a born-and-raised fan whose blood runs orange, a Denver transplant who's adopted our mantle, or someone living outside of Colorado who's just a fan of horses and orange and people named Peyton, don't disgrace my team and my home by booing at my team.
