As with many of you, I've been a Broncos fan since I was old enough to pay attention to football. Today I was disappointed. By the team, yes, they didn't play to their potential. By the coaching, yes, they also did not do what they needed to do. But most of all the fans that decided to show up and turn on our team. I know most people here are obviously against that treatment, it's so infuriating to see people booing the home team, forget that they are booing our HOF QB, or that they are booing a franchise that has achieved 4 straight AFC West division titles. We were booing our own team. That in itself I find pitiful. Have we truly been over run by so many fair weather fans?
This team had had it's ups and downs but being so angry towards the team that has been 12-4 or better for three straight years is just sad. It was obvious they gave it their all. They didn't play that well but they left it all on the field.
