Today I'm requesting the Star Wars Humble Bundle ($12/£7.88); the new Star Wars Movie is coming out this December (The Force Awakens) and even though Disney have eliminated all possibility of the Extended Universe being made into Canon (Canon means the works of a particular author or artist that are recognized as genuine) I would still love to know more about it, my dad's a huge Star Wars geek and will be treating me to see the movie on the day of release, he claims to have read all of the books and the comics. Some of the games in this bundle are story based, such as KoToR I and II. When I see the movie I really want to eb able to understand all of the little, suttle references that will no doubt be made to the EU.
For the content, this bundle happens to be extremely cheap, especially since it still has more games to be added!
If you happen to just have a couple of the games left over from buying the bundle for yourself, then please think about sending them my way, I'm open to all friend requests on steam so go ahead and add me if you'd like! If we have any games in common then I'll play! If you want a friend, or are going through a bad time then I'll try my best to comfort you, regardless of if you have the bundle games spare. Happiness can always be spread, I'm generally a happy person so maybe my happiness can rub off on you?
WHAT IS MY FAVORITE STAR WARS MOVIE?
That's an extremely close call between Phantom Menace, Revenge of The Sith, A New Hope or Return of The Jedi.
I: Something about the scene where Qui-Gon-Jinn/Obi Wan vs Darth Maul with Duel Of The Fates playing in the background really appealed to me, even when QGJ fell to the double blade of Darth Maul.
III: Anakin's Fall To The Dark Side, this was a sad moment for me, I loved Anakin alot and seeing him change upsetted me, but it was fresh, a breath of life. A grown man slaughtering a bunch of padawans? It was... weird, but stimulating. Plus Yoda vs Darth Sidious/The Emperor/Chancellor Palpatine was awesome!
IV: The first star wars movie I ever watched, got me into the franchise, Luke was awesome as a young boy, at first I though Ben Kenobi was a pedophile, which turned out to be false. Help Me Obi Wan, You're My Only Hope.
VI: Seemingly the end of everything, Anakin/Darth Vader betrays the man who saved his life, and gave him a new one to save his son (who kissed his sister... erm?) the bit when Vader was unmasked meant alot to me, the Masked Man was so weak on the inside, so vunerable... I felt sorry for him...
