When was the last time we had this many teams in the playoff picture? Currently, 5 of the 7 teams have either clinched (Montreal, Calgary, Toronto, Vancouver) or are within one point (Ottawa).
How many times have a majority of them been in the playoffs?
2004 had Calgary, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa in the playoffs.
93 had Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Quebec, Calgary, Winnipeg. (Ottawa's inaugural season and Edmonton deciding to blow it up, missing the playoffs for the first time in franchise history.)
Have we had all of the teams in, post expansion era? Have we had more then 6?
