I do not want voice chat in Splatoon, so thank god it's been omitted/not included in the final version of the game.
I read up about why they made the decision, and I think Nintendo called it just fine. Since online is 4v4, I hardly imagine I would want to hear the words fk and ct blasting out of my Gamepad for my entire play session.
This game isn't Call of Duty, so I'm really glad Nintendo didn't take any 'cues' from that recycled trash franchise just because Splatoon happens to be 'sort of a shooter'.
What do you guys think? Were you hoping for voice chat? Also, did you guys already pre-order the Splatoon amiibo? I went for the three pack!
